Col Shabbar Shahid (Retd)

Colonel Shabbar Shahid is an Indian Army Veteran and a mechanical engineer by profession. He commenced his career at Godrej and Boyce Mfg Co, Mumbai in 1982. Joined the Indian Army in Dec 1988. Gained experience in technology and human resource management while serving the nation for over 34 years at 20 different locations.


Administration and management of engineering setups are his forte and teaching his passion. A born student, he completed his PhD in management while serving with the Indian Army and he continues to be a student.


His experience includes a three year tenure at Defense Research and Development Organisation. He has commanded an Army battalion of Electronics and Mechanical Engineers in the North East part of India and has extensive experience in setting up new workshops, establishing procedures and building result oriented teams. 


Some of his notable accomplishments include establishment of engineering infrastructure for servicing of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) in North East India during 2007, Setting up an infrastructure for testing, maintenance and repair of  Anti tank guided missile systems in Northern India during 1998 and setting up infrastructure facilities for servicing of Armoured Fighting Vehicles in Central India during 1994. He was awarded the Army Commander's commendation for his  outstanding work during the command of a battalion.

Jayant Salian


Jayant is a qualified Chartered Accountant, an all India rank holder in intermediate and final examinations conducted by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.   


He has spent over three decades practicing as a chartered accountant providing various services like Company audits, Company Secretarial assignments, Taxation advisory services, Mergers and Amalgamations,  Due diligence, Internal audits, Developing management information systems etc.   His clientele include industries from a diverse spectrum like engineering, pharmaceuticals, infrastructure, travel, real estate, agro processing and others.


One of his most prestigious assignment has been the advisory services rendered to an Indian company for a World Bank funded agro based project which included holding negotiations with the World Bank officials, finalising the  agreement and project implementation process.  In another similar project he helped in setting up of a 100% Export Oriented Unit (EOU) obtaining approvals from Foreign Investment Promotion Board (FIPB) etc. 


He has been working as a business advisory consultant for the past 15 years providing corporate advisory services including capital structuring and  fund raising for small and medium companies. Some of his prestigious  clients include names like Ranbaxy group including Solus Pharma and Rexcel Pharma, CIPLA, JB Chemicals and Pharmaceuticals. 


Col  G S Radkar (Retd)

BE, MSc, FIE(I) 

Col Radkar is an Indian Army Veteran and an alumni of the prestigious College of Engineering Pune (COEP). He has served across the length and breadth of the country as an Army officer and commanded a heavy engineering battalion of the Indian Army in the Northern region. He also holds a diploma in Industrial and Business Management, an advance Work Study course from Institute of Technical Management, Mussoori besides a Six Sigma course from Engineering Staff College of India, Hyderabad. 

A thorough technocrat and administrator, he commenced his working life at Philips India in 1985 before joining the Indian Army in 1987.  His multifarious experiences includes serving as a logistic commander in the UN Peace keeping force at Mozambique, General manager of a large Army Workshop involved in the overhaul of Russian tanks where he was instrumental in implementing the ISO 9000 certification, Chief Adviser and coordinator at a technical headquarter responsible for equipment life cycle management and  General Manager Administration at a large Army workshop in J&K.


He also had a three year stint at Defence Research and Development ​Organisation where he was involved not only in design and testing but also served as an interface between the Army and civil establishments. Small and medium firms dealing or intending to deal with defence establishments may benefit immensely from his services. 


Col Anand, VSM (Retd)

Col Anand Kumar KV, VSM  is an Indian Army Veteran with a distinguished service of over three decades in the Army for which he has been honoured with a Vishist Seva Medal (VSM) besides Chief of Army Staff's commendation and Army Commander's commendation.


He is a post graduate mechanical engineer with specialisation in weapon technology from Defence Institute of Armament Technology, Pune and an executive program in management from MDI, Gurgoan. 


He has served at over 18 locations across India and has an extensive experience in Human resource management as well as equipment management.  His experience includes commanding a heavy engineering battalion of the Army, General Manager production, planning and execution at Army Base workshop, Chief Maintainability Engineer serving as an interface between the designers and Manufacturers of Army equipment specially battle tanks and also involved in defect investigation of the same. 


Some of his notable achievements include designing an Engineering Support Package for the battle tanks, contribution towards design and development of heavy recovery vehicle for the battle tanks and facilitating indeginisation of several engineering spares and components during his stint with the department of indeginisation. 


Col Anand has provided engineering consultancy to several known firms like  Samtel Avionics, OutDo and Indo Autotech Ltd.



Col Sunil Kumar P


Col Sunil is an Indian Army Veteran, a B-Tech in electronics, qualified on an advance course on Electronic Radars and also holds a diploma in management. He is also qualified on Quality assurance and quality improvement tools, Network Centric Projects, and Unmanned Aerial Vehicles. 

He commanded an Army unit in Counter Insurgency Operations in J&K, Served with Boarder Road Organisation and has been associated with quality assurance at Army Base workshops. 

Human resource management, recruitment and technical management of engineering setups are his forte and he maintains a strong interpersonal relationship specially between the Army and civil establishments. 

Col Sunil fits in as an ideal consultant for coordination, liaison, process simplification

and bridging the gap between the engineering product requirements of the defence establishments and those prospective manufacturing clients who intend to fulfill this demand under the scope and opportunities of Atma Nirbhar Bharat.

He has been instrumental in establishing performance benchmarks in Green Field projects, Assembly layout, new set ups, technology management & transfer, manufacturing excellence, establishing facilities across assignments. He has vast and versatile experience in automobile manufacturing, production planning,  erection & commissioning of Car Assembly Plant equipment,  and writing RFQ’s for procuring equipment for car assembly line. He has also travelled to Italy, Turkey, Germany, South Korea and visited various assembly plants in the process of equipment procurement for parent company.
